One thought. One stranger. One conversation.
You write one thought and let it go. It floats for about 30 minutes where strangers can see it. If someone catches it, it vanishes from everywhere else and the two of you get a private conversation. When either of you leaves, it's over — there is no inbox to return to.
There are no profiles, no followers, no likes, no comments and no history. Nothing here accumulates. That is the whole idea: the thought is what matters, not who wrote it.
What we mean by anonymous
You are anonymous to the other person. They never learn anything about you: no name, no handle, no picture, nothing that carries between conversations.
You are not invisible to us. Your browser holds an anonymous session identifier that we use to keep the service safe — enforcing one thought at a time, limiting abuse, honouring blocks and acting on reports. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number, and we don't claim to be untraceable, because that would not be true.
Messages in a closed conversation are deleted within about 24 hours. Content attached to an abuse report is kept separately and for longer, so reports can actually be acted on. See Safety.
What this is not
Bubblumi is not therapy, counselling or a crisis service, and the person who catches your thought is a stranger, not a professional. If you are in crisis, please reach out to people trained for it — a few are listed on the Safety page.
